Analyst (LNG Storage & Reload)

General Overview

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Analyst to join SLNG. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in the natural gas terminal industry while contributing to strategic initiatives and business growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following scope of tasks and duties:

Contracts Management which includes commercial operation

• Manage existing LNG Bunkering contracts with key accounts to maintain customer relationships, and resolves issues with contracts and commercial operations
• Conduct supply chain analysis & liaise closely with the analyst on product flows to support business models and test the robustness of business cases.
• Lead engagements and negotiations with external stakeholders including regulator, deal counter-parties and other market participants

Business Intelligence

• Gather, organize, and analyze data from various sources to identify market trends, customer preferences, and growth opportunities. Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making processes.

Corporate Reporting and Support

• Management Reporting: Prepare and deliver management reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, to support decision-making processes and provide insights into business performance.
• Budgeting and Planning: Assist in the budgeting and planning process by gathering data, analyzing trends, and providing input for financial forecasts and annual budget preparation.
• Managing Risk Register: Maintain and update the risk register with inputs from the team, identifying potential risks to the business and implementing measures to mitigate them.
• Business Initiatives: Support various business initiatives, such as LEAN projects, by participating in project teams, contributing ideas, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
