GENERAL OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Analyst to join our LNG Market and Business Solutions Group. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for candidate to gain hands-on experience in the natural gas terminal industry while contributing to strategic initiatives and business growth.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following scope of tasks and duties:

 

(a)    Contracts Management which includes commercial operation:

•    Follow up with customers enquiries for Storage and Reload business such as Gas Up Cool Down, Jetty to Jetty, and other reloads. 

•    Maintain proper documentation for all engagement and negotiations with external stakeholders including regulator, deal counter-parties and other market participants.

(b)    Business Intelligence: Gather, organize, and analyze data from various sources to identify market trends, customer preferences, and growth opportunities. Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making processes.

 

(c)    Corporate Reporting and Support, which includes but not limited to:

•    Management Reporting: Prepare and deliver management reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, to support decision-making processes and provide insights into business performance. 

•    Budgeting and Planning: Assist in the budgeting and planning process by gathering data, analyzing trends, and providing input for financial forecasts and annual budget preparation. 

•    Managing Risk Register: Maintain and update the risk register with inputs from the team, identifying potential risks to the business and implementing measures to mitigate them. 

•    Business Initiatives: Support various business initiatives, such as LEAN projects, by participating in project teams, contributing ideas, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

4.    Strong analytical capabilities, with proficiency in data analysis and market research to support informed decision-making.
5.    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear, concise PowerPoint presentations and written reports.
6.    Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and rigour in all analyses and deliverables.
7.    Effective team player, able to collaborate seamlessly across departments and organisational levels to achieve common objectives.

 

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
