Intern, IT & Procurement (Cybersecurity)

GENERAL OVERVIEW
We are seeking an eager and detail-oriented intern to assist the IT & Procurement roup, while working closely with both internal and external parties.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in enforcing IT policy, standards and procedures / guidelines in accordance to internal policies, and applicable regulations (such as PDPA, Cyber Security Code of Practice (CCOP) under the Cyber Security Act, EMA Regulations, and Computer Misuse Act).
- Assists in performing periodic reviews of the IT system access.
- Assists in IT audit planning, coordination, management response, rationalisation and collation and tracking of audit action items with internal and external parties.
- Assists in IT compliances check by reviewing control effectiveness.
- Assists in simulated phishing campaigns to improve security posture of organisation.
- Assists in IT awareness initiatives through provisioning of CBT for security, identify possible gap of understanding in staff and facilitate re-training / awareness session.
- Assists in Information Security Management System (ISMS) audit planning, coordination, management response, rationalisation and collation and tracking of audit action items with internal and external parties.
- Understand cybersecurity operational processes for critical infrastructure operators and what it takes to comply with ISO27001/CCOP standards.
- Any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate students currently enrolled in Information Technology or equivalent program from a reputable university.
- Positive and keen learner, with good communication skills.
- Able to commit at least 3 -6 months.
