Intern, Operations (Mechanical)

GENERAL OVERVIEW

We are seeking an eager and detail-oriented intern to assist the Operations (Mechanical) group, while working closely with both internal and external parties.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•  
• Understand various equipment operating and maintenance philosophy for Liquefied natural gas (LNG) Terminal.
• Work with Engineers to participate in root cause analysis on equipment failure and data trending to resolve technical issues.
• Develop/Improve Mechanical Maintenance Procedures; this will entail shadowing the Technicians for understanding.
• Be involved in Pre-work plan analysis and population of Preventive Maintenance / Predictive Maintenance / Job plans / Statutory / Risk-Based Inspection plans into SAP; this will entail shadowing Planners to understanding maintenance scheduling.
• Develop and analyse related KPIs based on plans and schedule.
• Any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Undergraduate students in their final year currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent program from a reputable University / Polytechnic.
• Positive and keen learner.
• Good communication skills.
• Team player who can work well in a team and willing to collaborate with other to achieve results.
• Able to commit for a minimum of 6 months.
